Biographies

Warren Wills
Warren Wills is a multi award winning composer, musical director, and performer who has worked with many of the world's best cabaret, opera, jazz and classical artists.
One of the most versatile and gifted musicians on the international scene, he has authored 8 original operas, 10 musicals, 13 children's musicals, 8 albums, 5 major orchestral works and music direction credits on more than 50 productions. Warren has played and composed for the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), as well as Woody Allen in New York City , and has toured extensively in Europe, Asia and the US, with appearances on MTV in the Middle East. Warren was awarded the prestigious Best Musical, Carling London Award, and nominated for Critics Circle Award, Olivier Award for Best Entertainment, finalist for the Vivian Ellis Awards, Evening Standard and Theatre Management Association (TMA) Award for Best Composer, best musical.

Most recently he was composer and musical director of “Ella and Marilyn”, the musical play written by Bonnie Greer celebrating the relationship between the two iconic divas Marilyn Monroe and Ella Fitzgerald at the Stratford East theatre in London. He was also the composer for the RSC’s production at the Swan Theatre and in Ottawa, Canada of “The Penelopiad”, based on the book by Canadian author Margaret Atwood.

His solo piano performances pay tribute to the giants of piano from Bach and Beethoven, through Brubeck to Jerry Lee Lewis, and are described as "dazzling and electrifying" by The Guardian and with "haunting power" by the Financial Times.

Alice Fearn
Alice trained at Mountview Theatre School. Upon graduating in 2005 she made her West End Debut in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical “The Woman In White” (Palace Theatre) understudying the role of Laura Fairlie. From there she joined “Les Miserables” (Queen’s Theatre) where she played the role of Factory Girl and understudied and played the roles of Fantine and Cosette. Most Recntly Alice played the role of Princess Aurora in Sir Alan Ayckbourn's new piece "Awaking Beauty".
Alice was also part of the 21st anniversary recording of “Les Miserables” (Mermaid Theatre) which aired on BBC Radio 2.
Alice also works as a session singer and has been a part of major movie soundtracks including “Pirates Of The Caribbean”, “Sweeney Todd” and most recently “Mamma Mia”. She can also be heard on Universal’s latest recording of “West Side Story”.
Jonathan D Ellis
Jonathan trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and in Musical Theatre at the GSA Conservatoire. He studied Interior Design at Chelsea and has worked as a Stylist, Wedding Planner and Fashion Expert on TV.
Television appearances include: Gary in 'Sugar Rush' and Derek Cooper in 'The Courtroom', both for Channel 4: As regular character Craig Bolas in 'Family Affairs', Ted in 'Harry & Cosh' (Ch5); Jean-Pierre in' There’s a Viking in my Bed' (BBC1); the leading role of Freddie Clegg in 'The Collector' (Central TV); Kika in 'Is Harry on the Boat?' (Sky One); Dave Davenport in 'Eastenders' (BBC1); as a guest Doctor in Coronation Street (ITV1) and the leading role of violinist Alexander Hall in the TV Movie 'Maestro' (Canal+).

He also played the lead role of Robert in 'The Awakening' at the International Festival of Musical Theatre which was shown on BBC4 and recorded the leading role of Dr T in the upcoming Broadway musical 'The 5000 Fingers of Dr T'. Jonathan recently returned to the West End in the ill-fated musical 'Murderous Instincts' at the Savoy Theatre where for nine days he ‘brought the house down’ as the outrageously gay Miguel!
Jonathan is currently a Guest Presenter and Fashion Expert on QVC and has created a new aspirational make-over show for TV entitled 'The Red Carpet Treatment."
Since 2002 Jonathan has been concentrating on film work and can currently be seen as LB Mayer’s assistant in the biopic of composer Cole Porter 'De Lovely' (MGM) starring Kevin Kline; as The Fop in Andrew Lloyd Webbers 'The Phantom of the Opera '(Warner Bros) directed by Joel Schumacher and as Courthouse Reporter David Wells in' Batman Begins' with Christian Bale.
Verity Quade
Verity graduated from Trinity College of Music in 2003 with a first class Bmus (Hons), she went on to study at the Royal Academy of Music on the Musical Theatre course, graduating in 2004 with a PGDip and a DipRAM. She is also a recipient of the Ian Fleming award.
Her main work lies in musical theatre, and she will be appearing in the exciting new production of Sister Act at the London Palladium until March 2010. Over Christmas, she was privileged to work with Sir Alan Ayckbourn on Awaking Beauty at the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough. Last year she was also seen in the show Strictly Gershwin at the Royal Albert Hall as featured vocalist and understudy to Ms. Barbara Cook. Verity played the role of Ida in the actor/musician production of Honk! at the Watermill Theatre over Christmas 2007, before which she spent a year in the ensemble of The Sound of Music which opened at the London Palladium in November 2006. Previous to that she appeared in Jerry Springer, The Opera at the Cambridge Theatre understudying and playing the role of Shawntel over 60 times. She can be seen in the ensemble on the DVD, originally shown on BBC2 amid much controversy!
Other musical theatre roles include Madame Thenardier in Les Miserables in Concert at the Beau Sejour Centre in Guernsey, Agnes/Sherri in the European premiere of Michael John LaChiusa’s Lucky Nurse at the Finborough Theatre, Gina Santini in the workshop production of Talking To Mr. Warner at the Menier Chocolate Factory, Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd directed by Matt Ryan at RAM.
Verity competed in the BBC Radio2 Voice of Musical Theatre in 2005 and was one of only 6 singers to reach the final. She can be found on the original 2006/2007 cast recording of The Sound of Music, on “Numbers Rush By” with band Tonic Fold, on the demo recording for Cinderella by Anne Dudley and Stephen Fry and on her own album “A Different Kind of Love” with fellow performer Robert Archibald.
She is an experienced jazz and cabaret singer. As such, she has performed at venues as diverse as the Pizza Express Jazz Club, Lauderdale House, the Theatre Museum, Battersea Barge and Norden Farm.
Verity is also an accomplished pianist and musical director. She is constantly in demand as a vocal coach and singing teacher both at music college level and with professionals.
Kirsty Hoiles
Kirsty has worked extensively in Opera and Musical Theatre. Her West End Credits include Gone With the Wind (New London Theatre) and Les Miserables (Queens Theatre). Other work includes the 25th Anniversary Production of Side By Side By Sondheim (The Stables, Wavendon), HMS Pinafore, The Ghosts of Ruddigore and The Burglar’s Opera for Opera Della Luna (Covent Garden Festival, National Tour), The Wizard of Oz (Birmingham Rep), Peter Pan (West Yorkshire Playhouse), King Cotton (Lowry, Liverpool Empire), Jerry Springer the Opera (BAC), Ken Hill’s Phantom of the Opera (Lincoln Theatre Royal) and The Beggar’s Opera (Cochrane Theatre), Sweeney Todd (Derby Playhouse).
Kirsty also works as a session vocalist. She has recorded vocals for Warner Chappell, Disney, Sony and for numerous feature films including Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd.
Joel Elferink
Joel originates from Australia training at WAAPA (Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts). At WAAPA he performed in numerous productions including: Giles in “The Crucible”; Kayama in “Pacific Overtures”; and Motel in “Fiddler On The Roof”. After graduating he went into TV playing Wayne in “Home and Away” (Network Seven) and Alan in “Headland” (Network Seven). After moving to Britain he joined the West End cast of “Les Miserables” playing Feuilly, u/s Marius and Enjolras (Queens Theatre). Then performed as Nick & Justin in “Cosi” (White Bear Company) and most recently played Issac, u/s Adam, in “Imagine This” (New London Theatre).

Melissa Jacques
Originally from Sheffield Melissa trained at the London School of Musical Theatre.

Theatre: My Fair Lady, Chess, Into the Woods, Company, Beauty and the Beast, Oliver, Return to the Forbidden Planet, A Slice of Saturday Night , The Full Monty, Spend, Spend, Spend , Crazy for You , Me and My Girl, Anthology & Living on an Island, and several pantomimes.

Workshops include: We Will Rock You and Desperately Seeking Susan. She was an original cast member of MAMMA MIA! and has also had the privilege of performing on behalf of the show in Thailand, Moscow and Shanghai.

Television: Royal Variety Performance, The Des O´Connor Christmas Special, Capital Radio´s Party in the Park and Party at the Palace.

Recording: Original Cast recording of MAMMA MIA!. Melissa works regularly as a session singer and work includes The Sound of Musicals (BBC), and material by Carlton Edwards, Charles Miller and UNKLE and several commercials and backing tracks.
Jonathan Williams
Jonathan studied music at Clare College, Cambridge, and musical theatre at the Royal Academy of Music. He now works as a pianist, vocal coach, musical director and singer.
Musical direction credits include: Awaking Beauty (Stephen Joseph Theatre); Salt (Theatre Rites/Ruhr Triennale); Cattle Call (Phoenix Dance Theatre); The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby (Chichester Festival Theatre); Six Pictures of Lee Miller (Minerva Theatre, Chichester); Calamity Jane (national tour); Bernice Bobs her Hair (RADA) and Kiss of the Spiderwoman (Guildhall). He was assistant musical director of Annie Get Your Gun (Young Vic); Shall We Dance? (Sadler’s Wells); How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Carousel (both Chichester Festival Theatre). As a repetiteur, Jonathan has worked for the Manchester International Festival (The Ground Beneath Her Feet); Scottish Chamber Orchestra (When the Earth Sings) and Grange Park Opera (Wonderful Town). He also worked as vocal coach on a production of The Medium by Peter Maxwell Davies (Muziektheater Transparant, Antwerp).
Performing credits as a singer include: The Voluptuous Tango (Almeida Opera); My One and Only (Chichester Festival Theatre); Me and My Girl (Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham); Jerry Springer: The Opera (Battersea Arts Centre) and Zipp! (Duchess Theatre). He has performed throughout the UK and Europe with The Shout, a sixteen-voice a cappella choir, and works regularly for the education departments of the Royal Opera House and ENO.
Graham Newell
Graham was born in Shrewsbury and trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, London.
While at Mountview his performances included: Jesus in Godspell, Jigger Craigin in Carousel, Frid in A Little Night Music and Valentine in Two Gentlemen of Verona.
Theatre Credits include: Grease – the Musical! in Denmark, the UK tour of Annie Get Your Gun in which he understudied and played the role of Tommy Keeler, the West End production of Footloose – the Musical at the Novello Theatre in which he understudied and played the roles of Travis, Lyle and Cowboy Bob, Babes In Arms at The Chichester Festival Theatre, the conceptual workshop of Imagine This and Irving Berlin’s White Christmas.
Emma Lindars
Emma Trained at Mountview Theatre School. While at college she performed in: Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens; A...My Name Is Alice; Two Gentlemen of Verona; Baby In The Bathwater; and Anything Goes. Since graduating in 2005 she has appeared as Evileen in “The Wiz” (Upstairs at the Gatehouse); and Fraulein Schweiger in “The Sound Of Music” (London Palladium). Currently she can be seen playing Diva in the hottest musical in the West End “Priscilla Queen Of The Desert” (Palace Theatre).
Emma was also on the most recent recording of “The Sound Of Music” (Really Useful Group) and can be heard as Peaseblossom (Naxos Records).
Francesca Jackson
From an early age Francesca has worked in theatre from playing the Speak Easy Singer in “Bugsy Malone” (Queens Theatre 1997) to Bet in “Oliver!” (Cameron Mackintosh Ltd 1997). Since graduating from Mountview Theatre School in 2005 she performed as a soloist for Transworld Orchestra (Phil McIntyres Entertainment Ltd); Lucinda in “Into The Woods” (New Players Theatre); Ensemble u/s DeeDee & Mary in “Tonight’s the Night” (UK Tour); Joanne in “Rent Remixed” (Duke Of York’s Theatre); and Lucy In “Can't Smile Without You” (UK Tour). Most recently she was chosen by Andrew LLoyd Webber for his final 12 in the BBC talent search “I’d Do Anything”.
Nathaniel Morrison
Training: Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Roles while training included Charlie Davenport in Annie Get Your Gun, Bobby in A Chorus Line, Mr Snow in Carousel (Bridewell Theatre) and Jesus in Godspell (BAC).

Theatre includes: professional West End debut as Stevie Wonder in Dancing in the Streets (Cambridge Theatre and tour), Jorge, the camp butler, in Tonight’s the Night (tour), Genie in Aladdin (Warwick Bridge House), supporting artist for Lynden David Hall (Birmingham Drum Centre) and, most recently, Trevor Nunn’s production of Porgy and Bess (Savoy).

Louise Stagg
Louise trained at The Guildford School of Acting

After leaving college she appeared in a production of ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’ at the BAC she then went on to make her West End debut in Les Miserables where she stayed for three years playing a succession of roles.

Since leaving the show Louise was given the honour of performing by Royal Command at Windsor Castle with the cast of Les Miserables. The special concert performance was in honour of French President Jacques Chirac who was a guest of the Queen as part of celebrations to mark the centenary of the 'entente cordiale'. The cast were also joined by members of the original cast of the musical including Michael Ball who sang the lead role of Jean Valjean.

Louise has also been working on solo projects and has performed at Kabaret, Denim, Talk of London and hosted her own musical evening at the Metropolitan Hotel, Met Bar, London
